Restoring a Backup to a New Database
The Restore Backup to New Database section of Database Admin allows users the ability to restore a previously made Support (XML) backup through Antero. To restore a backup to a new database, follow the steps below:
1.In the Windows File Explorer window, navigate to the Storage Path where the backup database is located.
2.Select the desired database backup and then click the Open button in the windows lower left-hand corner of the File Explorer window.
3.The Create Database window will open in front of the File Menu.
4.In the Create Database window, type in the name of the restored database in the Database name field.
5.Then, click the 
button in the upper right-hand corner of the window.
6.A window showing the progress of restoring the new database will appear. Once the database is created, Antero will automatically open to the new database. The File Menu will reflect the newly created database by having the new databases name at the top of the window.
7.Users can now proceed to the Security section to add Users and assign Roles in the newly created database.
