Tools/Equipment can be added to each Work Template on the Equipment/Task tab. Individual records can be selected and updated based on selection. It is possible to build a list of tools for each work template to facilitate more efficient maintenance. Tools/Equipment added will be used during the work order, but not consumed following the completion of the work. This serves to allow the user to determine a cost associated with using tools/equipment similar to a rental of equipment/tools.
Tools added to work orders are added from the Equipment section. Equipment records allow for a work order rate ($) to be assigned on the Equipment Details panel. This rate, multiplied by the quantity, will be added to the total cost of the work order.
