When work orders require that equipment or machinery be shut down or taken offline, a record of the time spent down or offline is able to be entered as Equipment Downtime. Work Orders allow for a total number of hours to be calculated for downtime by selecting the Start and End of the downtime event.
Entering Equipment Downtime
To enter downtime for the work order, click the hyperlink Enter Equipment Downtime under the completed information. Downtime Start and Downtime End are both required fields.
1. Click on the down arrow for Downtime Start and choose the day on the calendar. The time start at 12:00 AM, click in the time to change the time and define AM/PM.
2. Click on the down arrow for Downtime End and choose the day on the calendar. The time start at 12:00 AM, click in the time to change the time and define AM/PM.
3. The total downtime will calculate and display at the bottom of the window. Click save to apply the downtime.
