The Product Type list field allows users to associate Parts with a defined Product Type. The Product Type field is a single piece of data that can be used to further describe or classify the part and will help to categorize similar parts together. The Product Type field is used on various reports and can be used to filter for specific data.
Adding Product Types
To add a Product Type, click the 
[add] button and define a Product Group Name.
Editing Product Types
To edit a Product Type, click the 
[edit] button and change the name of the Product Group.
Deleting Product Types
To delete a Product Type, click on the 
[delete] to remove a Product Group from the list. The fields will become blank where ever the Product Group was associated.
